Oct. 15 Theme

Since I'm sitting here in my living room freezing, lets do something snow. I love snowflakes. But I'm sooooo not ready for winter to come yet. Whatever you can think of that has snowflakes on it. I even have a punch of a snowflake!

October 15th Theme - Jenn

PUNCHES. I think that the only thing we should use this time is punches. One or more, just use the die-cut(s) from a punch(es). Good luck!

October 1 cards

I am NOT good with using stamps alone, obviously. It was definately a challenge for me. So, at least I can say that while you have a couple ugly cards, I learned what not to do! :) I know that I cheated a little on the stamping only one, and I chalked it. The other one was just stamps too, only with ribbon attached. I PROMISE to make cute cards next time. It's been a hectic crazy last couple of weeks and I'm disappointed with how they turned out. Oh well. We live and learn.

Oct. 1 Cards

Here are my two cards. The first I cut the scalloped rectangle with my Silhouette and I cut the black stickers with my Silhouette. The second is all stamped. It was fun, but I think it is a little boring. Oh well. I mailed them just a few minutes ago. I hope they don't take long to get to you.

October 1st

I had totally forgotten that I hadn't given you my theme yet. I just got your cards too, and I love the "Dear John." That is pretty funny. For October 1st my theme will be stamped backgrounds. The only decorations on the card can be stamped images. You can be creative with this and layer different stamps in differnet colors. But there can't be any other dimensions, just the card front and ink. Have fun!

October 1st Idea - Jenn

Halloween!!!! I'm so excited for these holidays and the Fall season to start that I'm jumping out of my shoes!

Sept 15th Cards...

Cards in the Mail

The first card is pretty simple. I left the outside blank for you to add your own sentiment. The second card I borrowed the design, I copied it almost exactly from a card I saw on twopeasinabucket.com. I think the white lace really adds to it. I sent you three since I made a dozen. I hope you enjoy!

September 15 theme

A fun hello card to send to a missionary. Right now Jens is on a mission and two of Doug's nephews are on missions. So, just something fun but specific to missionary work.

Sept 1 Cards

Okay so this is really Sept 3 cards because I just mailed them this morning. I made this one in pink with a pink ribbon and embossing that I inked in pink. I made another just exactly like it except it is green. I hope you like them.

Jenn - Sept 15th Theme

Weddings! Weddings! Weddings! I think this theme will be super fun because these are generally my favorite cards to make. I go all out on these because I know that this is a SUPER special day for the couple. On this card you must have:

1-Something Old (use old stamp-sticker etc...)
2-Something Borrowed (borrow ribbon, yarn, fabric etc... from a neighbor or family)
3-Something Blue

Have FUn!!!

Sept 1 Cards - Jenn

I put these cards in B&W beecause the coloring was so aweful from the photo that it didn't look at all what they really are. The Top card is for a boy - the bottom for a girl. The writing is printed off on the computer - the foot is a stamp and the window was cut with Coluzzle.

Sept. 1 Theme

If you are doing baby girl, then mine will be baby boy. That way we can make a few of each to have on hand for gifts. The only catch is no blue. Baby boy is always blue. So let's try something a little different.

Jenn's Sept 1st Theme

is.... Baby Girl. You can do anything you like - from pale colors to bright vibrant colors - it just has to be distinguishable as a Baby Girl card. Best of luck!

August 15th Cards

This card was done with a combination of scrap papers and cardstock. The lettering was printed on the computer. Ribbon is tied around the card through a slot I cut in the side.

This card was made with DCWV papers, flowers from Michaels, brads from Provo Craft, and random ribbon. Coluzzle was used for the circles, and the ribbons are stapled on. The wording is stamped on.

August 15th Cards

These are squares. I stamped them individually with pink and brown ink on white cardstock. Then I inked the edges with brown ink.

I found a scrap of vellum with pink and green flowers. I embossed the 'just because' and sanded off the pink cardstock that has a white core. Then I stapled the green ribbon to the front of the card.

I didn't get these cards mailed today, but I promise that they will go out tomorrow. Sorry!

August 15th theme

Pink with Light Green. Whatever else you want to add, but there must be a little pink (or a lot) with a little light green (or a lot). Also, you should try to use a stamp that you haven't used for a really long time or that you don't use a lot. It can be whatever. I have tons of stamps that I haven't used ever or haven't used in a really long time. Happy crafting!

These cards are pretty basic. The first card is stamped grass and the flower leaves with green. Then I added the buttons for the flowers. The card I mailed you has pink instead of purple buttons. The happy day is a stamp also. The second card is stamped with watermark ink the flourishes with a transparency flower cut out and embossed with my cuttlebug. It is attached with a button. The ribbon is really scraps of fabric tied together. Thinking of you is also stamped with watermark ink.

Jenn's Aug 15th theme

The theme I'm going to use for this time is sQuaReS. Try to use as many squares on your card as you can. It can be one or more. Good luck!

Jenn's August 1st Cards

This card is made from DCVW paper, DCVW ribbon, flowers from the craft store and the lettering was printed off the compter.

DCVW & Provo Craft Papers, with DCVW brads. Coluzzle was used to cut out the circles.
